The (not so) hard sell!
OK, although you're free to use the material on this website (subject
to copywrite acknowledgement) it is a fact that keeping the website
updated, along with writing new material does take time and money
- so here's your opportunity to help by buying a hard copy of the
prayers on the site (or an ebook if that suits your needs)
Every little helps, as they say, and it enables me to continue
this little ministry!
Thanks for visiting FaithAndWorship.com, do drop by again, as there'll
hopefully be a new collection of prayers out soon!
We use PayPal as a secure method of payment, and if you don't have
a PayPal account don't worrry, because you can use a debit/credit
card.
HEART2HEART
This
is a personal collection of new Celtic inspired prayers and liturgies
written to be used in private and public worship, together with
my selection of worship resources.
There is an influence in all these prayers from the Christian heritage
of worship that we have inherited in Britain and Ireland from the
earliest days of missionary activity - generally referred to as
Celtic Christianity.
Prayers from this collection have been used in resources published
by the Methodist, Anglican and Baptist churches, as well as appearing
on many websites.
You can buy online from this website securely using either PayPal
or a Debit/Credit card. ( Or alternatively via
Amazon)

Little Town - Big Story (Advent Study Guide)
Little
Town, Big Story is a new Advent Bible Study resource based
on the popular Christmas Carol 'O Little Town of Bethlehem' written
in 1868 by Phillips Brooks (1835-1893), an Episcopal priest, Rector
of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Philadelphia and one of the most
famous preachers of his time, following a visit to Bethlehem which
seems to have affected him deeply.
Four individual Advent studies for small groups, with leader's
notes, background information, study material, questions for discussion
(including leader's prompts) and prayers to open and close the meeting.
The Advent study is in A4 format, and each week's study can be
printed on 2 double sided sheets, allowing space for note taking.
Permission is given for a church to photocopy these resources,
so only 1 copy is needed per group!

Listening to Whispers - Study Day Guide

The purpose of this guide is to enable a small group to make a
spiritual journey, one which might make connections with the lives
of early Christians from the first centuries AD in our land, often
described as Celtic Christians, who met together to break bread,
share their joys and fears, pray and sing in a country which was
very different from that which we see today, where solitude was
much easier to find and indeed sought out – a place and time
to connect with their Creator.
The format of the study is to allow for a day where a group or
church can gather together in fellowship for study, share a meal
and maybe join together over a sharing of the bread and wine of
the Eucarist.
There are 4 studies/workshops and associated resources, including
leader's notes and a form of liturgy for opening and closing the
day to help you get the most out of the experience. The material
is presented as a .pdf in A4 format to allow for ease of photocopying.
Format of the day is as follows:
Opening Worship
Session 1 - A sense of place
Session 2 - A sense of space
Fellowship Meal
Session 3 - A sense of connection
Session 4 - A sense of journeying
Closing Worship
(Leader's notes are enclosed for the sessions)
